They Do Make Me Wonder...

I've always been keen at observing eminent yet not-so-thought-about things, and to them I don't know the answers. I haven't had much time to do research on them, but then, there's something that holds me back. This stuff is trivial to just about anyone, and trivial doesn't often elicit interest. So why bother? Anyways, here's the list that I came up with.

1.) Why do dying roaches lie on their back and twitch their legs?

2.) Why call Pork and Beans that way when there's no pork in it? Wouldn't it be better if they started to be a little more honest about their products by calling it Beans in Red Sauce, or Some Pork Fat and Beans perhaps?

3,) What, exactly, does corned in corned beef mean?

4.) Why do they have door locks at 7-11 when it's supposed to be open 24 hours?

5.) If you publish your blog on the web, why don't you let everyone at school read your diary?

6.) Why do cats chase mice?

7.) Why is the computer mouse called a mouse when in fact, it doesn't look like a mouse?

8.) Why did the BetaMax become obsolete upon the arrival of the VHS when the AV quality and size of the former is better?

9.) Why do people cover their mouth when talking on a cell phone?

10.) Wouldn't it be more appropriate to refer to the white lady as lady in white?
