Yeah, and I'm feeling really sorry for the loved ones that he left. Let's offer our prayers for the repose of his soul. I know he didn't have any political significance to most of us, but can't we all just do it for him as an institution in the local movie industry? Or, if you still can't do that, how about as a human being?

'Da King' is dead

Actor and former presidential candidate Fernando Poe Jr., dubbed as "the king" of Philippine cinema, is dead. He was 65 years old.

Linggoy Alcuaz, a Poe supporter in the last elections who organized the prayer vigil for his swift recovery, told DZMM Poe passed away shortly after 12 midnight of Monday. Read the full story.
