Damn broke. That's what an average student gets when he buys a new car and so independently wishes to pay for it on his own.

If I Am

If I Am by Nine Days

So you're standin on the ledge
It looks like you might fall
Its so far down
Or maybe you were thinkin about jumpin
Now you could have it all
If you learned a little patience
For though I cannot fly
I'm not content to crawl
So give me a little credit
Have in me a little faith
I wanna be with you forever
If tomorrow's not too late
But its always too late when you got nothin
So you say
You should never let the sun set on tomorrow
Before the sun rises today

If I am
Another waste of everything you dreamed of
I will let you down
If I am
Only here to watch you as you suffer
I will let you down

So you're walkin on the edge
And you wait your turn to fall
But you're so far gone
That you don't see the hands upheld to catch you
And you could find the fault
In the heart that you've been handed
For though you cannot fly
You're not content to crawl
And its always too late when you got nothin
So you say
But we should never let the sun set on tomorrow
Before the sun rises

If I am
Another waste of everything you hoped for
I will let you down
If I am
Only here to watch you as you suffer
I will let you down

So you're standin on the ledge
It looks like you might fall

If I am
Another waste of everything you dreamed of
I will let you down
If I am
Only here to watch you as you suffer
I will let you down

The answers we find
Are never what we had in mind
So we make it up as we go along
You don't talk of dreams
When i won't mention tomorrow
And we won't make those promises we can't keep

I will never leave you
I will not let you down
I will never leave you
I will not let you down

I so have picked this song for my music video production. Haha, I'm even done with the planning. Now I'm in the oh-my-god-I-need-kick-ass-talents-for-this-one stage. Any ideas?

Keep 'em Coming

I need your suggestions, people. This is for my TV performance class this term. I'm required to present a music video, canned or with partial live elements, of any song of my choice. It could be a group or individual thing, but I guess I'm going for the latter. I never enjoy working in a group, especially when I need to assert myself and the group starts to think that I'm being a know-it-all butthead or something. And you guys know me, I have like, an attitude problem. This one I got from my dad. It's a no-one-is-above-me thing. It certainly helps me get by most of the time, but in group projects/productions, it messes up things for me and everyone else.

Okay, back to the topic, I'm having a rough time deciding what song I'm gonna do a video of. Here's the part where you'll give me your choice of a song that I would most likely enjoy performing. I think I'm gonna be needing a feel-good pop or alternative song by of course, [a] male performer[s].

Hit it! I'm waiting.

Waitaminnit, me? Performing? In a music video? That's definitely weird, but I don't want any screw-ups in this production, so I'll try. Ü (to perform, bitch!)

The Post of the Year

I thought I could do it. I thought I could let this blog rest in peace, well, at least until December. I have so much to tell you people, and I hate keeping it all to myself. But first, here are a few things I noticed/realized during my 19-day blogging hiatus.

1.) I am always feeling bored, no matter what I do. Going out with friends just doesn't cut it anymore. Having an online outlet of everything I have to say is just, you know, different.

2.) I have become a better speaker than a writer over the past almost 3 weeks. I don't know why that is. Whenever I try writing something, I keep writing sentences of less than ten words. Now that is broadcast writing. You know, so you don't pause within one sentence. See? I'm learning something from my RX stint.

3.) I don't go online that much anymore. I surf a website or two for a few minutes, which usually is Peyups.com, then I log out afterwards.

4.) Due to the lack of something to do during most times, I have relearned how to play the piano. That's cool, I haven't touched the instrument for over two years.

I'm taking 15 units this term. CRS enlisted me in 6 classes (that's 18 units if you can't do the math), but it turned out one of the electives I wanted was cancelled because there were only 3 other people who enlisted in the class. So there, four 3-hour classes, and a 3-unit, 150-hour radio internship for this term. Hmm, I think that's gonna be keeping me busy again. But I'll struggle to update you guys.

And here's one more thing that's kept me busy over the month - I'm an RX college jock! You familiar with Radio 1? Well, if you're not, it's a program hosted by college students who fortunately made it to RX's cut. It's aired every Saturday from 12 noon to 2 in the afternoon. And, I also go on air on Tuesdays and Thursdays (well, that's usually when I come over to the station because I don't have a morning class the next day), 11pm to 2am. It's a really hectic job. I handle announcements, sponsor tags, the Generation RX Poll Question, and text messages (which keep flooding in during that time, mind you). So, you want me to greet you? Tune in to Monster Radio RX 93.1, and text RXyour message and send it over to 2299. It doesn't matter which network you're subscribed to. Oh, and by the way, I use NICKY for my on-air nickname. I hate people who address their text message to me and spell it as NIKKI. Hel-lo? That's a girl's name!

Last thing now, I have a SUN sim! I think I'm gonna be using it permanently, cuz GLOBE sucks and all they want is your money but you don't get the service you deserve for paying so much. So there, see ya SUCKERS! My budget goes to SUN! Woohoo!

You wanna text me? How about call me? 09224691344. Oopsie, that's private!
